PS my son, who lives in San Diego, has a girlfriend from South Korea. Interesting hearing about some of the cultural differences (not that i remember what they are, right now.)

it's good to have been missed, Michael and great to be home. Take your time, there may be more blogs by the time you drop by about Japan and then you can read them more efficiently as a block :) So far I have two but plan at least two more.
